Genauso, wie wir Alternative Fashion lieben, lieben wir es auch Berlin, die Stadt in der wir leben, zu erkunden. Vor Kurzem waren wir im Bocci 79, einem Showroom in Charlottenburg, einem wirklich magischen Ort. Man öffnet die schweren Türen eines alten Amtsgerichtes, erbaut 1896, in der Kantstraße 79 und tritt ein in ein Wunderland von Architektur und Design. Als erstes trifft einen die Stille im Gebäude, die einen ziemlichen Gegensatz zu dem Lärm der Berliner Straßen bildet. Dann lässt man die Unterschiedlichkeit von Architektur und modernem Design auf sich wirken. Seit November 2015 stellt die Firma Bocci hier in angemessenem Ambiente ihre Designs aus, von Licht-Installationen bis hin zu Möbeln. Das ganze Konzept lebt von Gegensätzen, die am Ende eine große Harmonie bilden. Ziemlich Berlin eigentlich.

Just as much as we love alternative fashion, we love to explore Berlin, the city we live in. Recently we've been to the Bocci 79 showroom in Charlottenburg, a really magical place. You open the heavy doors of an old district court in Kantstraße 79, build in 1896 and you step into a wonderland of architechture and design. At first the silence in this building hits you since it's so contrary to the noise of the lively streets, then the contrast between the old building and the super modern objects shown, intensifies the experience. In novemver 2015 the contemporary design and manufacturing company Bocci opened this special showroom to showcase their designs, from light installation to furniture, in the heart of Europe. The whole concept of this showroom lives of contradictions but in the end all elements, the shown pieces as well as the majestic old building, unite. Quite Berlin I say.
